Dark | Light | Rise
We were born in the dark,
devoid of life's warm spark,
soul-sealed, made to kill,
till we couldn't feel
the hope of the light
that was bright,
once,
in our beating hearts full of fright.
So we rose amidst the chaos mist,
with bodies bleeding,
never desisting,
We tore our way towards the light,
till we couldn't feel
the depths of the dark,
that was comfort,
once,
in our beating hearts without spark.
Thus we fell, one by one,
torn down, thrown around,
we've come too far to run,
So fight!
That is our light!
Take it. Feel it.
This life, stolen from the dark,
that once healed,
our newborn hearts.
